I was REALLY bored(as you can probably tell by the pic) so I decided to make a playstation from scratch in Photoshop. The playstation is a replica of the old playstation. Not the PS2 or PS1 but the very old one. Well, heres the pic... http://www.angelfire.com/space2/pstuts2/psx.gif I know, it's nothing special but what do you think of it. |

PSX. Any anyway, isn't it about time you graduated from the bevel/emboss stage? I know without even digging my Playstations out of the closet that it doesn't look like that at all. The bevels are too harsh, the buttons don't look like that and the font isn't the same either. I congratulate you on the effort, but I can't say I like the image at all. :(

Yea, I kno, it does suck but it was just for fun. The Bevel&Emboss is heavy but it was the closest I got it. I got the font as close as possible also and I just decided to make the buttons a little different. More "shiny" i guess. But anyway, I really had no choice with the Bevel&Emboss unless I wanted the PSX to look flat and 2d. But, thx for your opinion. At least your not afraid to speak your mind!

Oh, if I was 100% honest pank would've banned my ass from the forums ages ago. :p There are other ways to make things look 3D without the bevel emboss, but that's for you to learn by yourself (or ask in the help forums hint hint). |
