id say make a site in all html and ccs, once you master the idea of clean refreshing design, work on your images. I would take a look at some of dekers stuff, he does a good work using minimal for a professional look.

in reference to what michaelP was saying --> yeah a nice site doesn't have to be overly graphical most designers just make theirs like that for good buisness but alot don't.. *googles for some nice plain sites* here's a couple I found http://altsense.net/ http://www.threeoh.com http://www.ourcommon.com http://www.onetwentyeight.com/ but also there's those 1337 graphical sites like http://www.shadowness.com however the current version isn't as cool as the last http://www.onyro.com/ http://www.pixelranger.com/ anyway! good luck ![]() --- but yeah don't worry about cell's if you slice in photoshop it does it for you ![]() ![]() |
