logo feedback

Yin Yang is overdone. You are ditching a great idea(4th one) for something cliche. Do we really need more Yin Yang symbols?

hey, the logo isnt for my self.... note..Client. If he doesnt like it he doesnt like it. I cant argue that.

Hey Michaelp I know what you're talking about. With clients you're basically kissing thier ass and you hope one of the good designs gets through. In the past I've design a couple really nice logos and I'll put in a throw away and the client picks it arrrrrgh!! but thats what you do to get paid. My first question when I'm shown a logo —"What's it for?

Yeah one of the hardest things to do is sell a really good idea to the client. They usually have a preconceived idea as to what they want and it is hard to get them to bend in any direction. My advice to you and myself(I tell myself everyday), is to always push it farther and be confident in your design abilities. With confidence we will see our best designs being used b/c our clients will believe we know what we're talking about. The gift of persuasion does not come easy. Good luck and always do good work.
