I've been working on a children's picture book called "The Cat Who Thought His Tail Was An Icicle." I've put the full final first draft up on my website at: www.eyewoo.com/ndx.bam.php Comments, crits and suggestions really appreciated. I'm also starting to look for an agent - perhaps the hardest part about writing children's picture books (or any book for that matter) Comments and suggestions really, really appreciated here as well. |

redeye... Thanks! Just need to find a publisher now. heathrowe... Thanks! ... quote: "very inspiring as a fellow natural artist... " uummm, do you mean as an artist who uses traditional media? If so, that's interesting... because every picture on my website except for one was done entirely on my computer from initial sketches to final images. The exception is a pencil drawing of a girl's head in the sketches section... Maybe I misunderstood your writing... ??? Guerill... Yepsir! Simple rules... Thanks :D |

I wouldn't say that the writing is all that great but the artwork is good. Except for number 12...the cat looks bad in that one. tom |

As usual - amazing - Although the style is different the feeling I get is close to the works of Norman Rockwell.... How did you come up with the ideea? - did you see a cat sitting with the tail hanging from a roof? - my father's cat does that all the time... I hope you find an agent who will help you publish it.... |

I really like it, as I have said periodicly as you posted new pictures of the book once and a while... its amazing and is perfect for a kids book, the brushy/textured style is great for little kids to actually understand the importance of texture :P Awesome work as usual eyewoo |
