May Splash screen

Hey Everybody

Just uploaded a new splash screen to my site (The May Edition) and thought some feedback would be nice.

Nice. I like it a lot. Only comment I have is its a bit big. Im on 1024 and I gotta use horiz/scroll. Just zero out your margins (since your img. is 1024) or resize it a bit. But other than that no crits. Good work!

yeah bit big but its good, its got alot to look at with in the image.

ive been on your site a couple of times and i love your work.. But yes, resize the splash.. Im not on 1024 but you have to think about them to..

otherwise its very nice, i like the feel of it..

thanks for the input - i just resized the piece to 950px.

It is one of my reoccuring faults - I guess i just get caught up in the process of designing and tend to forget optimizing the thing for smaller monitors.

Yeah it looks really good but still too big for my monitor. If meant as a piece of artwork, it looks good, but as a spash I think it should fit onto all screens nicely. Not sure how to acheive that - just letting you know.

Fixed the html as well, so there should'nt be any problems on 1024 resolution monitors.

I actually consider it a piece of artwork which i just choose to put on as a splashscreen on my site - something i do every month. So it's sort of a mixture of the two

well the way i look at it, is that there are a few things just coming together into a bigger piece. You do have some really cool things going on, but they lose a bit when they come together. i think the graffiti 2003 and the fly are one thing and the face and shore are another. I think they would be cooler separate from eachother. but it isnt really that bad, it defiantly is useable
