Hey hows it going, names Marc and I dibble dabble in Photoshop now and then. Here are some of my latest works, or ones I thought would be good to show off first time round (gives general feel for my stylie). This first one is called Asteriod Cluster, done completly in photoshop with nothing external. Its a background done in 1024x768. http://www.angelfire.com/alt/mermerkin/asteriod_cluster.jpg Next is another background. This time around I am using two pictures from elaisted.org, these are without permission but this is noncommercial personal use. Again 1024x768. http://www.angelfire.com/alt/mermerkin/formandfigure.jpg Third is a background for a friend of mine (his name should be obvious... as well as his past time). In this one there are two exterior pics included, one from hypnox.com and another from a James Bond video game poster. Once again noncommerical personal use (done for free). This time 1280x768. http://www.angelfire.com/alt/mermerkin/secretagent420.jpg Finally a mouse pad I designed for whatever graphical design company happens to reside five feet over from my unmade bed. The photo of the teeth I took myself. http://www.angelfire.com/alt/mermerkin/mousepad.jpg Comments welcome, cya'll around. -M |

The first wallpaper is just amazing... All the others are nice too, but look a bit filtery... and too busy for me. Wouldn't want that as a wallpaper, I need something calm on my desktop. Nice job though. |

Yeah I try to stray from the conventional filter approach. Acutally they all hardly use filters (except the polar cord on the last one). The first one actually used the most filters and that was for the planets. The second is the use of repeating the same dot pattern again and again in different ways. In the third the main filter used was motion blurr (which really is the filter I use the most). Most of the effects I get are from blending. Thanks again for the comments. |
