Wallpaper for a client.

I'm making this wall that this guy at school requested. He's a pretty damn good artist or paper, however knows diddily squat with digital art.

He grew me the logo, and told me color scheme. And requested the word "mercinary" where it is.

It's not done, but I just want to see what pros here at TPS think, I can basically change anything since everything is it's own layer (damn thing is like 40 layers now), so feel free to comment.

it looks good but to be real honest I dislike the beveled border in the background alot which also seems a bit empty maybe if it had the same texture and color as the central design it might work

I not sure about the transparent blades. Seeing through a metallic surface should be left up to Superman.

You exploit the nice color and light trick same as your sig, only this time you added two words and some ameatur fixings. Should have expanded your sig idea into something worthwhile on a grandeur scale. Its too straight forward, just my opinion.

Yeah I feel that. I've seen some clients ruin designs because they don't know the correct way to present visual material. Of course the entire point though is to make them happy, in secret you can always expand off the idea.

mercenary is also spelt ahemm unusually.

I like the second one.
