the first one: - it looks good but somehow I think the rough spots of red don't match the dodged middle....
the second: - don't really like it...the effects make the girl look fat but not fat enough for irony....just fat
the third: - I like the left side - I would leave just that and remove the rest - the second guy pic is horrible - the eye makes me think of a corpse....

overall - the first is better than the others...but all of them look to me in need of serious work....

As for the last one, le right hand guy is the same than the left one! Th fact that it makes you think of a corpse is rather a good thing for me, it means that the effect works! The last pick is the one I prefer (I think), the 2nd one being the one I like less

I think the last picture is the best. I don't think the first two are crap, you obviously have talent, but I just don't like them.

I think the picture of the man on the left should come out a bit more to make him more prominent, but apart from that, I think it's fine.

Sorry if you found my comment lame, but what I ment was they all sort of appear similar to me. Aside from maybe the last one, they're pretty much the same idea.
"looking for inspiration" placed in different spots, with some different shapes, and different background pictures. I don't know what the pictures simbolize either. Although, I must admit the effects are pretty cool, and the text placement on the second image is great.

The type on the first one is badly justified. You have to many words breaking at the end of the line leaving you with a bunch of dashes. It's distracting.

I read the second one as "ooking". I do like the fact that you are experimenting with type. You don't see to much decent type around here.

As for the third, lose the pic of the guy on the right and play with the LFI type at the top. It looks to verticaly scaled.

I am stickler for good type. There is a power in a piece that contains really good type. Mastering typography is the hardest part of design. Keep pushing it.

I like the 1st one the most. Mostly because the 1st one looked like Marlyn(sp?) Manson and the 2nd one wasn't all that great IMO.

i liked the 1st and 3rd
