daybreak

hey all. i've finished the next painting. still learning and this is my first attempt at natural land features close up. the man is a photo that i manually sketched into photoshop. the rest is from my head.

That is helluva nice, although he looks a bit like a giant, just cuz of the size of the waterfall near him.

Anyway, did you do the "Shaolin sunset" pic?

whoa man. This is absolutely awesome.
I'm loving it to death.
the ONLY thing that bothers me a slight is the water falling down on the backside of the cliff, it's not clear enough somehow. Too light I think.

But yeah.. it rocks alot. :D

the water altogether was giving me problems. bugged the hell outta me.

That is farking amazing A-Pek, you did this all with the mouse? or did you pick up a tablet? cause i remember the last few you did was with the mouse and without the use of a tablet, either way that its still pretty freaking amazing... great detail man... :D

no i still haven't gotten one. i didn't even get to scan the photo of the guy in the pic this time. i had to tape it to the side of the monitor and draw it in with the brush lol. here you can see what i did http://geocities.com/apekaftermath/tang.html
