three logo's, all designed for a childrens day of play-events, theme= magic.. (title is in dutch)

The middle one is best imo, it has a look of a cyrstal ball (think the gradient helps). I also like the red one.

yeah but solid color helps a lot when it comes to logos - especially if they're for print - gradients sometimes come out crappy - also:
"red" wizard = bad wizard - black magic and stuff
"blue" wizard = nice wiizard - hehe
