Its way too obvious that you used the Difference Clouds filter (or Clouds). Go into it a bit more and make it more grungy. Im not sure what that would be as I dont do grunge, but that filter is glaringly obvious. Normally theres nothing wrong with this, since we all know how to use PS and can recognize how things are done. But I think in this case it sticks out way too much. But on a positive note, what you did do to it looks good. I like the colours alot.

(i dont do grunge either, this is the first grunge ive done) your right, the first thing i did was choose a dark brown color, and then used clouds, then i did dry brush, and then film grain, then brushstrokes>spatter, then i rotated it, and did wind, and then rotated it back, so it looks like it drips down, and thats what gave it the basic look it has, i then added some layers, and did mezzotint with some short strokes and grainy dots, and brushstrokes>crosshatch, and then did some penciling, anyways, im kinda new to photoshop, and any tips that would make this look better would be great |
