The center image seems to be of poor quality. Also, the square images dont mix well together. Try to make more dynamic shapes that blend together more naturally. There is also no rhyme or reason to the composition. 4 different cars all sort of awkwardly placed, way too chunky. Maybe try a more original theme rather then just "cars". I know how much you are about being original and not doing the obvious. Something that may help however, with your blends, is using a layer style like multiply, overlay or something, rather then just bumping down the opacity. This also creates more interesting effects. Also, who the heck uses a screen resolution of 900x600??? Make it a size that would be appropriate for a bg.

I dont like it much. It was just an experiment. Im posting a new one, with corrections and dynamic shapes. With one theme, Porsche.

Maybe you should mess around with layer masks, so the pictures would fade, rather than having such a strong contour line
