Trying to do 3D differently... |

Well, my latest desktops, the dark version is just an alternate one that my mum prefers, so don't judge that one as if it was my original aim or anything ok. Tell me what you think, good and bad. Tu Far GoN - Original Tu Far GoN - Dark Just so you know, the originals are 1280x960. |

I like the dark one better too but I don't like the bevel on the blood splatter - thing. mother always knows best lol |

Yep dark one is much better, i just cant see whats "Different" about how the 3d is? was it not made in a 3d prog? Either way i think it looks pretty good

What I tried to do differently was the dreamy, blurred type effect on the 3Dness, putting those faces in and the juxtaposition of 3D with cheap-arse blood. The wordage too. What I never wanted to do was: Make the whole thing blue, make it widescreen with some of the spikes overlapping the adges of the widescreenness, and put in loads of binary crap and text blocks. That's how I tried to do it differently, I also think my lighting is quite good in general, to make things look nice that is. LA! ThanX for the feedback people. |
