simple yet nice.. I find nothing wrong with it, but perhaps, try to incorporate the G and the V into some sort of symbol ? GV .. I dunno just an idea, but there's nothing wrong with what you have there. |

Same as Zyc, except one thing. The gradient. If its strictly for web, then never mind. But in the print world, logos with gradients are a nono. In fact, even for web I would suggest against it, but since you wont be having printing issues, its not such a big issue. I like the colours (im still in my orange faze :D) and again, I agree with Zyc...Incorporate the G&V together somehow.

Michaelp Arggghh. I had a novel written then hit the back button on my mouse.... arghh, now thankfully for you, you get the dumbed down version. 1. Logos need to work at a variety of sizes. From the smallest pin to the largest billboard. Gradients dont work at very small sizes, plus you run the risk of banding and inconsistencies in the logo, which you defiantly dont want. Not to mention gradients look terrible unless used correctly. The logo needs to be as simple as possible, yet still conveys who you are in a powerful manner. Strong solid colours do this better then gradients. 2. All logos, arguebly, need to be created in vector format. That way they are infinatly editable, resized, and coloured. This cannot be done to this extent with a bitmapped image. Plus vectors keep you away from bevels, flares etc... :D |

Good deal dude! Well said! I created the logo in Illustrator and used Photoshop to add the gradient only for web. Just wanted to add spunk to it! Anyways, thanks for the comments. I appreciate it. |
