There are boards out there that have different meanings of what a SIG is and how big it should be, etc.. What are some of your definitions of what it is and what size it should be?

It's in the rules of every board, I'm sure.

not really, some board use it as an expression of art form like what I do. If you create a project in photoshop with a size of 500x250 and add your name to it, what would you call it?

I would call it: a picture that would be way too big for a sig. A sig normally is 88 x 31 pixels, and on this forum we don't like sigs that are above 25 kb. |

traditional sigs are 88 x 31. I broke away from that. Like to be special. I didn't overdo it though... right? 100 x 100 is quite reasonable. *gone to watch arsenal - ajax now |

Well, it usually a banner with your name in it that goes in the signature part of every board. It's like signing your name at the end of each post. So it should be somewhat unique. And like 30-100 by 100-400 pixels. |

Yeah.. *grabs NL by the feet, turns him upside down, puts his head in a pile of old food, twists his entire body around a bit with the old food muffling his screams of agony, and then just lets go, leaving NL falling into the pile of moldy old food* ...that should teach him. *goes to make a 1500x950 "sig" * |
