Made this for a battle too, i got a stock photo and ahd to make a mechman, well it's my first try at something liek this adn here it is:

Looks like the head of a futuristic worm from Tremors. Looks good though, although some of your edges that were cut out are a bit noticable, otherwise... :D

Ah, great first attempt would even be good for a 2nd or 3rd attempt if you asked me. Mayby some more shadows here and there could make it stand out a little more.

Do you have the source image?
