Big factories like that are scary. Makes you wonder... What do they do there? How do they do it? Why do they do it? Are they manufacturing a mechanical army to overthrow the world? I don't know! It's a good picture though. Even if that factory is about to dominate the entire earth... |

True. Another point. When programmers program something big. It will def. crash somewhere when running it for the first time. Such a factory has millions tubes, pipes ... probably transporting some dangerous stuff under high pressure. What will happen if they "run" it for the first time ? ... mmmz =) |

Nice shot, catscratch! How do you like your CoolPix camera? I was considering getting one. Any advice, complaints, issues, etc? I really liked using the 9000 on a job I did in 2001, but it's pretty pricey. |

I'm still in love with it. The more I use it, the more I love it. I especially love the 8x optical zoom. I worked with a Canon G3 couple of days ago. Good camera, but as soon I used the zoom .... "is that all" ? You really get addicted to it. The reason why I "upgraded" to a 5700 was esp. for the macro abilities. And they're pretty awesome I do miss a good wide angle. 35mm is good. But I'd really would like to have 28mm for example. Perhaps I'll buy myself a 0.8x converter someday. Perhaps a disadvantage. The 5700 has a pretty steep learning curve. Everything ... actually more then everything is adjustable. If someone had to start from scratch with photography I wouldn't recommend it. Otherwise he'll need to study hard. The only problem I read on forums is the slow AF in low light conditions. To be honest I never had problems with it. When it's really dark I always use a tripod (like picture above) ... okay focusing is slow then ... 2 - 3 seconds ... but it's still faster then my former Canon Powershot G1. When it's cloudy it focusses normal, when it's a sunny day ... it focusses with the speed of light |
