any advice???

Hey guyz kinda new round these parts this is an awesome source for ps tips and also new found inspiration. any way nuff sed lets cut to the chase.

This is one of my first pieces ive done just experimenting in ps with effects and stuff. its a work in progress so i will update it from time to time. any critism is gd

well you have a few things going on here... kinda a mix between grundge and trend... but i dont like the script typeface that you used on the edges. i think it would be better just without it. the rest of it is pretty good

I think redeye is right. The script font really detracts from the rest of the piece.

ok thanx guyz and yes this is my first real piece of 'graphics' that i have done. i kinda know what ya talkin about i too thought that there was too many font types on the piece.

In my opinion, most of the text is too big. It looks to me that you're trying to use the text for decorative purposes but it doesn't help when you can read ever single line. If anything I like the size of font beneath the hidden identity symbol or whatever that is. I think your piece could use more of that. I also like the colors, very subtle and smoothing. I think the main problem you have with the text is that it seems like you're trying to preserve the backbround image AND keep the text in focus. In that way they're kinda competing, like you're putting text everywhere but over the image, which in this case just leaves a big hole in the piece. I might just be spittin crap but that's just what I think.

Well i think the script font looks fine... maybe lighten the scipt font in the middle but it when its on the right side like you have it... I like the trendyness of the image and the cloudy look. This is really really good for your first peice... cant wait to see some more of your work...

I like it. I like the cursive font on the right, and the list of things on the left. And I like the face in the bg.

The colors you used have been overdone over and over again. Maybe change them. Otherwise it's a nie little splash thing.
