I don't generally have much success with the forum members liking my work, either because of stupid mistakes on my part, or the art being "too strange", well, this one's strange too.

I've only got 5mb daily bandwidth, so if you look at the image, please comment, good or bad.

It's called LaVeNDoR, similar to NiKoLoR, in case you remember that one.

But good work, nonetheless.

It's a fairly routine handling of a familiar subject matter.

However it's saving grace is that you have obviously shown above average handling of Photoshop and the everyday tools. I like the slice (vertical down through her nose) and I also love the grunge technique that you have applied. GJ

thehermit, I see what you mean about routine handling, but I wanted to combine the drawn image on the right with the photo on the left and the idea just sprang to mind.

I'm glad you like the grunge cuz I made it myself, I will never touch another persons grunge brushes or textures.

As for using my skills to make prettier STufF, I will and I have, I generally just make whatever appears in my head, which isn't often pretty unless it's sickeningly cute ^_^
