have the sign waving back and forth. or have him pulling it from behind his back. or have him jumping up and down.

just a few examples i took from other smileys.

It looks good...

...but some of the shading on the sign need some work though i think. As for animating it... i think squid had some good ideas, which were pretty much the same ones i was going to say :p.

Nice work though man.. :D
