wanted something bright to get me out of this gray weather :(

Well, that is definatly bright. But if I can make a suggestion. Replace the black with dark purple. Purple and yellow are complementary colours and work well together. The black just looks sorta muddys and takes away from the effect I think your going for. Plus the purple would be more lively. I think that you'd be happy with the results :D
