Another Logo Try

Here's my next draft on the logo I'm making. Lot's of feedback please.

Well... I actually think you have the wrong perception of a logo... so im going to define it more for you... a logo is something small that defines your name / business / etc... and there normally isnt a background or a slogen that goes along with it...

I would just make something simple that works good for your company, take nike for example... their logo is really really simple but as soon as you see it you know what company it is for, that the purpose of a logo....

Another good example would be the teamphotoshop logo.... its just a simple P looking thing... but when you see it the first thing you think of is... "O.. thats stands for www.teamphotoshop.com" :D

A slogan can sometimes go with the logo but not to ofter...

I hope you dont take offense to this, im only trying to help... :D, Keep working at it though man :D

the XS-Pro can be a logo.... but make sure its monochromatic. but fusiun is right. Just take out the gradiant and the phrase on the bottom and the XS-Pro can be a logo, not too exciting or original but it can defiantly be one.

definately make it monochromatic ( black and white ).
do this for a couple reasons. composition, clarity, readability. i know i'm forgetting a bunch of others, but this is enough for now.
apply color only after you or your client agree on the final shapes.

check out some of those sites, or just look at some of the logotypes around you for ideas.

i'd leave out the slogan and the lightning thingy for the time being and concentrate on the typeface or an icon of some sort.
