Hi, I was just looking for some feedback on my first draft of a logo I made. I wanted it to be basic, but still look good. http://members.cox.net/alexbuck/page.htm Alex |

It looks pretty good, but i think you need to go in and clean up the text some, it just looks really messy/crappy imo... other then that i think its ok... :p

I like it. but yeah, clean up the letters. the layout is the strongpoint. build on that. try using an actual font and leaving each letter on it's own layer and manipulating them using the free transform to achieve that same look with a more professional feel. good job, dude. |

I dont want to put to much of a dampener on proceedings, but in the interest of honesty etc. - It's nowhere near the standard it should be. Blunt? Yes. It looks like 5 minutes work on MS Paint, I realise from your post you were going for a 'basic' look, but this is taking that a bit too literally. On a more constructive note, the letters if you are keeping the concept need to be tidied up, they look like they have been drawn with the polygonal lasso tool and then given a stroke. Perhaps a more thoughtful approach to the dimensions of the text would be beneficial, less variance and randomness between the characters. Also the 'P' in Pro is far too wonky and out of line with the rest of the characters. Lastly, whilst I seem to be bitching (no personal offense intended) The Brand does not seem to suggest the wacky, crazy gimmicky treatment you have given it, XS-PRO would suggest less levity and more constraint. Just a few rambling thoughts - entertain or dismiss at will. Oh and good luck in the final logo whatever you decide. |

No effense, but it looks like soembody spraypainted it, then it says "empowering your buisness" or soemthing to that effect. Im not sure it's an appropriate buisness logo. Of course thats just my opinion.
