front page splash

Honestly, avoid bevels. They're old and looks good only if done right.

If I were you, I'd scrap the whole thing and do a proper splash page, not don't have one. Usually splash pages are like a preview to what is actually inside the website. And someone like me entering a site with that splash, I'd walk away. Sorry if I sound harsh.

I would say don't make a splash at all, if all you can think of to put on it is a big ugly button that says push here. Just let people go straight to the site. Makes a lot more sense.

?? tentacles are ahead? i don't quite follow you, but most times splash pages are not wanted because it slows the browsing process

Yep, skip the splashpart of your site. We're still a few plp out here who's on syrup connections, and we don't like it when we have to wait for a page to load and then find out that it's a splashpage...We'd rather come to the actual site at once...besides, if this is about you luvin' to make splashes, do them and put them on a "splash" -link on your actual site, that way one can choose wether to see them or not.

I don't like it at all.. it gives the look of an amateur (no offense intended) Also, re-center "Push" it isn't centered on the button
