hello,
i have been working with this piece for a while. i keep redoing it because i dont like the way it has been turning out. i'm still not sure i got the affect i was going for, but i think the problem may be the render. the main image is pretty much done, i still have to add the typography and some doodles. but just let me know what you think.

i agree with the white line and some of the edges need cleaning up(just a render problem), but other that, I ENVY YOU

okay, i added masks to each of the 6 layers of the same render i used(diff blending modes/opacitys) and i brushed some of the sharp edges. the light ray is out and i added a tint of blue on the "energy" in the center of the piece, rather than just plain white. check it out.

for the light ray, it may have been neat to use a smallers bit of radient then use layer options to give an outter glow
..
just a thought
then lower the opacity a bit, I sorta liked it :|
anyway.. its still nice either way
