I'm working on a new illustration style (using Photoshop 7) that I'm hoping will be more commercial. more fun, and take less time to create with. Here's the third picture I've done using it... "The Deaf Cat..."

Yeah, thats nice. its very cool how it doesn't look like a digital painting. Definitely looks like acrylic or oil or something. So... i understand its probably tricks of the trade and all that, but do you use a custon brush to get that streaky effect, or whatevre you'd call it?

its very nice.

GiottoFace... the new brush engine in Photoshop 7 allows for all sorts of strange and wonderful brush textures... That's what I'm using - brushes with the new brush engine...

Ni~ce :D That texture you used for the brush is awesome, gives it that handdrawn feeling. It looks like it came right out of a popular children's book. :D
