Filters are good. Learn the program and get comforable with it before you start spitting out graphics. I had Photoshop for a month before I showed anybody anything I made with it.

The images look like images everybody makes when they first start with photoshop. Nothing wrong with those. I'll give you a tip though, use the save for web-function in the file-menu of photoshop if you make images for the web. It reduces the file sizes alot! |

It looks like you have the most important tool for using PS. That's crativity. The best way to learn is to do just what your doing. Try every filter, effect, distortion and adjustment as many times as it takes until you know what they all do. PS takes a lot of playing with to master. Good luck.

Good getting your feet wet like your doing rather then coming in here and saying, "I need this, who can do it for me." Make sure when your using your filters to adjust them, dont use the default settings. Now try some multiple layers and layer effects. You will be pleasantly surprised :D.
