Site Design

okay this is my 1st site design
ignore the side to side bar, i left room at the sides so that i can trim it down

the 3 boxes in the middle are for the following

top left = headlines
top right = screenshot of the day
bottom = news posts

the 2 bars to either side will be for the menu bars

opinions?

for the top bar
i want a sheet metal type effect for that
but can't seem to find any way of getting it.
what im looking for is a shiny solid metal (most likely using that gradient)
like the hood of a car
that sort of metal effect

anyone have any ideas? :confused:

is there some kind of navigation? its really hard to say anything would know where and how the navigation look. but if i had to say something, it is pretty plain.

it's really simple and basic, the ad is really out of place, but i guess if u make the site that can't be helped. It's all so simple, the logo seems some what out of place as well. maybe make a sliced up version so we may better assess it.

It's too dark for my taste
