Something I haven't seen in a while. Nice work, but something isn't right, not sure what it is though

Could it be the Drop Shadow?

I've been having second thoughts about that.

I thought that the white vertical text was outta place and should be removed. But maybe that's just me?
And yeah, the drop shadow isn't that nice either. Loose that and you're there dude ! Nice work in all.....

Well i think you should keep the drop shadow... just lighten it some... other then that i think its pretty good... nice work :D

I would also point to the font as a cause for your concern. The vertical font is pretty illegible, perhaps something with more defenition would be better?

Okay ya know what it is? I think if I can put my finger on it, you need to lighten it up just a tad and you'll be all set. I turned the brightness up on my monitor and it looks a ton better, give it a try.

I dont think the brightness/darkness is an issue...to me, the bevel on the shape is too large. If you could shrink that, and make it look more rounded, i think it would look better

just make the drop shadow lighter and maybe change the font off the vertical text
