i took a pic and made new layer and made shape on that and i distrted the shae, duplicated it a couple of time, rotatated and change blend mode.

forthe background i just used some radial blur and the dodge and burn tool.

make the brights brighter and some of the darker areas darker to make the bright sections stand out

its not "dull". maybe muted or somtehing, but i like the colors.

I'm new here and to photoshop but i liek it. only suggestion, if i may, is that it needs a bit mroe color. Also, try to get a few higher resolution WP's out, am i the only person using 1600x1200?

change your sig!!! it is way to big!
And keep it under 25k. But most of all: make it smaller!
