I guess we're going to have to come up with some 'protocols' for this area. I would suggest if someone is posting images they post their "usage policy". Are they public domain... please request permission... etc. Or do you guys think that's overkill? If someone is linking to their personal gallery online, I would assume they would have their 'policy' on the website. But what if someone is just posting images? Thoughts? |

Honestly, I think folks should have their own policy in place. By taking the photos people will post here, they are in a sense protected under copyright law. Perhaps folks should have an index page to their galleries where visitors must agree to a terms of use before entering.

heres are some rules we can use 1. no asking for stock photos 2. if you dont want your image used in other peoples projects, say something about it if you dont you have no right to complain 3. no broad question like "what camera should I get?" its a very often repeated question if you have a question like this narrow it a bit(i.e what camera is good for X$,this camera vs another camera) 4. if someone wants their pic critiqued use creative ctriticism(i.e nice but it would be better like...) (not: that sucks) |
