I can't believe I've had this camera for over a week and haven't posted anything yet. Malibu = Slacker |

So what did you think of your purchase? I recently got into digital photography and bought the 300D - It's a great camera, but I think there are still a lot of improvements to be made in terms of quality to get it anywhere near traditional film level. Stuff prints out OK - my brother-in-law aslo has this camera, but has ordered a canon 8000 - so I am looking forward to seeing how his shots come out as it is a much better machine than the one I have. |

...and? C'mon, Malibu! Hook us up! I'm sure the Digital Rebel was a good choice for you, man. I have played with both, and until you shoot about 10K photos, you'll love it. I know the 20D is a great camera, but it could be a couple more lenses, a stronger strobe, a nice carrying case, a tripod, etc... You get my point. Both are a good buy, IMO. I'm at about 12,500 on my 10D, and I'm thristy for the 20D - but I bought this fatty 17" Powerbook, so I'm grounded from that kind of thing.... for now I'm anxious to see your photos, Dan - send me some! I'll trade ya! GG |
