How much zoom?? I have 10x so i can get nice large pictures......but id say below about 5x is impossible.....well not impossible but it wont look good. Even though it's at night, you want fast shutter speeds. My settings: f/3.5 1/125 ISO 100-200 |

I've never shot the moon, but if it's like fireworks, you will definitely want a tripod and a shutter release cable - for focus purposes. Otherwise, just expirement like crazy and take notes of what worked best. |
