Digital Camera

Well xmas is almost here and new stuff comes out every holiday season. I really fin to get a digital camera and was hoping you guys can point me to one cause I don't know much about cameras. Preferebly made by Sony or Canon . Priced around $150 - $300.

for 300 bux you could buy a canon powershot a20 I belive :D or a sony p7.. both of which are excellent cameras.

Minolta DiMAGE G500 is sweet. For $300 it's awesome. Plus it works with SD Memory Cards, MultiMediaCards and Memory Sticks.

I'm going to have to disagree about the sony p7. I dont like it at all, takes slow pictures and I feel the focus sucks. I would say save your money for a camera in the higher price range.

sweet camera, just not in the $300 range in the sub-$300 price i'd probably pick up a canon powershot a70, its 3megapixel and has both auto and full manual controls. should run you around $275 or so if you buy it online.

if you want a good entry camara please save your money and hget a nikon, the coolpic 5700 is an aswome camara it is more money but you will be very very happy with the quality near pro level.
