Has anyone seen or used the Canon 10D yet? I've read all about it, but I wanted to see if anyone here has used one yet. I'm big on personal recommendations. Likewise, anyone seen it for sale for under $1499 USD? Thanks in advance. |

I've heard really good things about it - I already shoot with Canon equipment, so I'm partial to it, since my lenses and strobes will work with the new 10D as well as my film equipment. Probably be ordering it after the new G5.... (Hurry up Apple!) keep y'all posted. |

I got it.... and it's MEAN. One problem... you may be led to think that your 3rd party lenses will work with a Canon 10D (as they will with Canon Film SLR's) out of the box - THEY DON'T... you have to send in SIGMA lenses to have them re-programmed. I don't know if I'm going to do that or not... - it's free, supposedly. I do have a 70-300mm Canon EF that is taking KILLLLLEERRR photos for me though. I'll post some soon. |
