rechargable battery life?

says there it has 1-1 1/2 hr battery life...is that respectable? i heard canon has pretty good battery mileage or whatever word is correct...im thinking of the G2...good idea?

WOW! Damn, that is one huge battery... I wonder how big the whole camera is.


I really like the setup in our camera (Kodak something). It has two AA sized slots in which you can either put normal AA's, or the included NiMH rechargables, it came with a little stand where you put it and it recharges. I have not had any problems with it, we once took on a trip for a a week, using the camera daily... never ran out. Then we spent a while transferring all the pics over to the PC... and the indicator showed that only 3/4 of the battery was used.
