megapixels...

just to clarify, as i understand it "Megapixels" just determine the size of the image, not necessarily the quality. or since the increased size = increased resolution = better quality? now im a bit confused actually...

so could u tell me if higher megapixel = better quality pics?

Higher resolution = more detail and generally higher quality. but if the camera compresses the images, they may still look like crap (jpeg compression) or the camera just may not take good colors, etc. but yes, generally the higher the resolution, the more detail and the larger you can print it, etc.
