Im just startin out with my new camera and i was wonderin if any of you guys or gals had any suggestions for how a noob like me can get started with takin some quality stuff.

hmm, just remember to take interesting pics...way too many new digi users take 500000 crappy boring pics. Also try not to use auto mode, you're just cheating yourself...good luck...post results

Mi LoFu - my advice: don't rely on photoshop too much. I sort of screwed myself by knowing Photoshop before photography. It's a nice complement, don't get me wrong, but your final product is far better when you simply touch up and don't completely mangle your original picture - definitely grab a book or two, some photo magazines, and don't be afraid to shoot like crazy! The more you shoot, the better you'll be. oh, and what kind of camera did you get? Digital or Film? |
