Hi! I was just wondering if you could possibly give an answer or a bit of advice. I'm just fooling around with photoshop and I have a great picture that I'd like to photoshop a bit more because I like to enter various picture contests on a couple of different sites and I was wondering if you knew any tutorials for photoshopping a dead person (I'm doing a dead pose in the picture but I obviously don't look really "dead" without photoshop work done to it) possibly in Rigor Mortis stage or looking like I was brutally killed or something like that. This probably sounds disgusting and all but I was wondering if you could offer some advice/help. smile |

hi, advice more than anything else..... first.... 1. you need to think about what you want your corpse look like, an idea is on yahoo or google, use there image search engine and search for CORPSE ..... this should give a lot of ideas 2. and search word for zombie ... those are sort of dead people also..... 3. also to think about is at what point do you wnat to appear dead.. ie; dead for a few hours, or a few days or a few week... big difference... 4. once you have an idea of what you want to look like..... then it much easier to figure out what to do in photoshop. here one i found by just doing a general search PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL CORPSE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTduBo9Sjkw |

Thanks for your suggestions! This is the image that I was/am going to work with. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/LOTRgirl4life/105_18922.jpg I'm basically going for the brutally murdered theme, not by natural causes, lol. |

hi , definitely the subject is unusal and for most people alittle unsettling... now how realistic you want to be is sometime depends on how it to be used.... a big difference between a movie poster or supposidly a photograph of a murder scene ..... also it important to know the subject... it like retouching glomorous photos... one may need a little background on masqera or or eyelashes in order to do nice things in photoshop.... with that in mind you might be interested in this link http://www.anomalies-unlimited.com/Death/Stages.html may want to pay attention to skin color and eyes.... also, like with searching images for corpse, you might search images for knife wounds or gunshot wounds, etc...... I really don't envy your direction.. smiling..... but good luck on your results |
