This may seem like an odd question to ask but here it goes anyways; I need to figure out how to change the DPI of my image and have it affect the pictures resolution without changing the size of the image. For some reason everytime I try this it changes the pixel size, is there anyway I can do this? |

hi, I am novice and not sure exactly what your asking but my thought.... to change the dpi without changing the pixal deminsions... when you bring up the image size windows.... uncheck resample ... then put in your dpi value you want... this will not change the pixal deminsion nor the file size!!! then you save... remember dpi changing does not add or subtract pixals.... for printing purposes... for my hp i use 300 dpi (for cannon 300 also) for epson recommended to use 360 dpi ... I hope that was what your looking for and it helpfull |
