I just posted the rules. As some of you didn't seem to understand this is going to be somewhat of a work in progress. So don't go hissy. If you see something or have a better idea post it here. We are "all" open for suggestions. Read the rules thread and see what you think...

The only possible bitch I can think of is the deadline. I know quick turn-around for the contest would keep people's interests more. But as I see it, 24 hours aint a whole heck of a lot of time if you account for work/school, sleep, and potential social lives among the graphics geeks who dwell here. IMO, deadline should be 48 hours minimum. To account for all the time that will be taken away from a person for daily life activities. |

That was what I originally was going to do. But, the majority of the posts that I read said 24. See, thanks Mr. B. I agree with the 48. For instance. I get up at 6:00 a.m., go to work at 7 and get home about 4:30-5:00. That would leave me about 2 hours to try something. So I vote for 48. Anyone else... |

i vote for 48 hours too because i get up at 6 to get to skool then i get home from skool at 4 go out at 6 for an hour or so for lessons on some crap some days 6 (religious skool) then i can't use the computer untill all mi homework is done (b cuz i wouldn't get off) and then finaly i have about 2 hours because I would easily fall asleep at the computer face first into the keyboard(not mi first time). Well that is my resoning. ps: pank look at ur spell checker it doesn't work stuff i am depaendant (sp?) on it, lol |

I'm all for a 128-hour period. In case anyone has noticed, I've not been around for about a good week, busy busy busy....too much stuff going on with 6,000 people coming into the office and wanting something done, with trying to get mortgage papers finalized, with attempting a few road trips the last few weekends and the coming weekend. Well, I'm still all for the 128-hour period, but if somebody does challenge me, I'll do my damndest to get something done within 48 hours....but it'll be tough. |
