Speed Paint Challenge

Rules:

Topic - IRON ANGEL [picked by Pganguly]
Time - Lets say no more than 30 mins for painting, reasonably flexible.
Time Frame - til Friday 3/4/05 (cool date huh?)
Photo's - Only for reference.
Size - Doesnt matter for now.
Hardware - Mouse is fine, or wacom if your really lucky.
Multiple Entries - Encouraged.


This isn't about quality, so don't be afraid if you cant paint (or draw). Just loosely render your image to achieve the best possible mood.

Also being such a short war, we could go a couple of rounds if you want (or anyone else).

I will try it, but i warn you i have never done a painting (or even a drawing, really) in my life.

Well, I'm gonna go ahead and spearhead the first one here. Usually, the way these are done in sketch threads on other forums is either two words are selected, to serve as the topic, or, a short sentence serves as a guideline.

Some popular ones include 'Machineflesh' and 'Grand Space Opera', both of which came from CGTalk.com's various challenges.

That in mind, here's my idea for the this particular challenge, we'll do something that can be interpreted pretty literally.

So...

Let's say friday is the cutoff, and multiple entries are encouraged.

Also, as for the individual timeframe, anywhere from 10-30 minutes is typical, but in many cases, it can take up to an hour or two to make something that's approaching finished.

Anyway, good luck, and I look forward to seeing what we can come up with.
