I added in a table, but they never seem to align right, and was wondering if I am missing anything?

i have no idea if you're talking about the same thing as I am but I hate aliging stuff in DW. The tables seemed to be hard to manually move and stuff. I just put a table in, and got it to the right size(put the images in) and switched to the different view where you could move them with ease. |

Do you mean so the pages automatically adjust to whatever screen size? Is so, I posted about this awhile back. Here was the response I got: just put all your stuff in a table and set its width to 100% and have it centered like this

I don't do the center tag. I just adjust the table width to 100%. Search for my post in the client-side forum. HTH ~R~ |

Adding to what "R" said. Set the complete table to 100% but also take one of the image in the sliced up table and set it as a background, doing this will make stretch and tile as the browser moves. I like the liquid design, it's not easy sometimes, but it does make your site look good over a range of resolutions and views. Here's an example of the technique I described above. I designed this site a while back and it is liquid in the manner described above. Take a look.... http://www.realrock1007.com The "header" image for this site I designed for a local rock radio station is a liquid table. You'll notice that from 800X600 and above, it stretches and fits the window. Hope this helps. It takes some practice....good luck. |

EXAMPLE OF A LIQUID DESIGN GO HERE: http://www.realrock1007.com HIT THE "HTML ONLY" LINK (unless you want to watch the flash intro I made) Once there, the top or "header" image with all the buttons and the name of the site is a table that is "liquid". It will stretch and fit any size browser window for resolutions 800X600 and above. I believe that is what Chimaira wants to do. |

I don't understand what you're asking Swallowtail but..... Its called liquid cause its fits to different resolutions. Like water fitting to any container whether square or oval. |
