Ok, I've gotta admit, I installed Ultra Dev and all the macromedia stuff a LONG time ago. I just never really messed with Flash any until recently. What an application! After working from one tutorial to another for several weeks, I finally decided to make something of my own. Well, I made a little dropdown menu. Nothing extra special, just a copycat of a menu at guistuff.com. http://home.hiwaay.net/~cbutts/oddstuff/firstflash1.html and I have a question or two. 1) when I finished I wanted to move the "entire" animation to the upper left corner. While I did figure out how to really mess up the animation. Lol! this is one of them after a move, I figured out I needed to have more than just 1 frame selected, but I never got it right. http://home.hiwaay.net/~cbutts/oddstuff/firstflash2.html 2) how do I change the size of the background? My little menu needs the background to be smaller and transparent. these are prolly easy questions but, I didn't see anything that jumped out at me. |

Thanks Matt... Like I said, "easy questions"... I was looking all over the place for something that said "page setup" or anything of that nature. I'll go see what damage I can do with what you just taught me |

At least you have the motivation to get into it, I got Flash about 1 month ago, and have yet to do anything fancy or even to hit ANY tuitorals. |
