importing illustrator vectors?? |

will someone explain to me what i ened to import illustrator vectors into flash?? i made an image. with diffrent layers. prety much an interface. . . i want to import the diffrent components and then work on the animations and actions in flash. i would very much apprecieate some help. |

Easy way: copy/paste, but you won't maintain editability. There is a plug-in for Illustrator to export to Flash but I don't know how good it is. With PSDs you're best importing them as PNGs, it's the only way to preserve transparency. Chris |

illustrator 9 has an option under export where you can export your illustrator file as an .swf. it works very well. there is the occasional glitch but they dont happen often.

I've never had a problem just going to >>File>>Import and importing *.ai files in Flash 4. In fact, If you attempt to import a *.eps it tells you that you need to save/export from FreeHand, Corel, or Illustrator as a *.ai This way also maintains editability. |
