Is there a way you can import a jpg or gif image and convert it into vector becides outlining it? Like is there a remove white filter that leaves everything else vecotr? Or something that traces the image? or anything?

Hi there. Well I don't think there is a way to make a .jpg a vector image. A jpg is always a jpg, if someone would come up with a way to do that I think they would be pretty rich by now... You can in Flash convert a jpg to bitmap which is the closest way of getting the vector look to it. Easiest way is just to trace it by "hand" in illustrator. |
