Okey I'm going mad soon. I have tried google, I have tried the shortcuts preferenses in illustrator but nope I can't seem to find the shortcut for a new layer...That's like the thing I use the most...okey after Ctrl - Z (undo). But really there has to be a shortcut for it...doesn't it? |

They ran out of keys so they couldn't make a shortcut for it. :p Nah, I checked the whole "Help" menu and couldn't find it either...

I don't have Illustrator 10 (running 8.0.1) but... Why not create your own shortcut, via Illustrator's Actions? I just did it, to be sure of my answer to you. Works just fine! |
