is there a standard size to web browsers? i dont know what size to make my movie to fill most of the browser screen |

Design for 800x600 and you should be safe.

Yea, Alot of people use 800x600. Maybe you should make an 800x600 layout and a 1024x768 layout and then make an entrance screen and have people choose. Alot people also use 1024x768.

Well, the real challenge (since it's scaleable) would be to create a Flash movie that would scale to all screen dimensions. But as p.c. said, if you go with 800x600, it will largely be viewable by all. SCREEN RESOLUTION 44% 800x600 42% 1024x768 04% 1280x1024 03% 1152x864 02% 640x480 <1% 1600x1200 Stats derived from: 370.000.000 hits at +500.000 different sites during May, 2003 Old stats, but the change probably isn't that noticeable to now. |

Actually, use javascript to detect the resolution and redirect if you must go this way. Entrance screens are annoying. |
