Actually X now you're talking my game, 2 books i find myself referencing constantly: Macromedia MX : Hands On Training - it gives you a basic working knowledge of the tools and walks you thru some pretty easy actionscripting building an extreme snowboarding website. FLASHMX ADVANCED ACTIONSCRIPTING:Training from the Source - now this is the gem! it teaches you a plethera of little tips and tricks , like calling on movie clips that arent even on the stage, and oddities like so. A good working knowledge (and an undrstanding of ) JavaScript cant hurt either seeing as action script is technically a form of it. or you can check out Actionscript.org or try FlashKit - tons of great stuff!!! |
