3D Studio Max 4 or Bryce 5???

hey everyone...

thought of learning a 3D software before enlisting into the army...

so...hope u guyz could help mi decide which 3D software to choose...

3D Studio Max 4 or Bryce 5??? :confused:

I got Max 4.........I don't really know which is better, but I like it. Haven't had time to play with it lately, but I will come winter.

I ain't got either i only got Bryce 4 cause it was on special.
lol. Anyone got any good reference sites for me to learn some Bryce 4.

Ok, if I came in here and said, "guys, I'm looking to buy a new car. What should I get, this 1994 Honda Civic DX or a new BMW 325?" we'd have a question that's pretty similar to what you just asked Bryce can do some neat things but has nowhere near the capabilities of 3DS Max, Max is capable of film/tv quality animation and has a lot of very advanced capabilities. There's also a huge price difference.

A better question would be, how much do you have to spend and what do you want to do?
